In 2005, ten years before brothers Saïd and Chérif Kouachi decimated the editorial staff of Charlie Hebdo, ten years before the attacks of November 13th, a jihadist network was dismantled in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. A dozen young people left to fight in Iraq. Among them, Chérif Kouachi, the Charlie Hebdo killer, Peter Chérif, who joined Al-Qaeda in Yemen, and Boubakeur El Hakim, future emir of the Islamic State according to the Pentagon.
In this podcast, one of Boubakeur El-Hakim's sisters, Asma*, recounts for the first time her life in the shadow of her brother, who spent his life sowing terror.
